A little about me, I attended The University of Arkansas where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design along with a minor in Marketing. The U of A Graphic Design program has a reputation for producing talented graphic designers with broad skillsets, and I am proud to have been a part of it! We focused on human-centered and interaction design, typography, branding, and design research. These were some of my most formative years as a designer!
After undergrad, I combined two of my passions, design and faith, by becoming a Graphic Design Specialist for a local church in Arkansas. I lead various projects and learned new skills such as stage design, internal and external communications, project management, and more! My experience as an in-house designer has allowed me to mature as an artist and become more confident in my work and processes.
I now reside in San Diego, California with my husband and am continuing to expand my talents with Owens Creative while also serving as a design resource for local churches in California and Arkansas.
