PROJECT OVERVIEW
Inspired by the brand values of customer-centric, trust, and welcoming, I thoughtfully created a logo and identity that is approachable and breathes life into the otherwise sterile medical community.
customer-centric, trust, welcoming
CHALLENGE
The owner of Holland Health came to me and a fellow designer to create a complete brand identity for his new business. After our discovery call, it was apparent that the brand needed to illustrate Holland Health's values, which are that it is patient-centered and trustworthy.

As a holistic medicine clinic, Holland Health utilizes alternative forms of medicine and treatments that are unique to each patient. It is common for the average person to be hesitant when they hear the words "holistic" or "functional medicine" as it seems so different from mainstream medical practices. Because of this, it was essential to create a professional brand identity, so the customer builds trust with the company prior to their first visit.
DESIGN + STRATEGY
The final logo that I designed is warm and welcoming by the use of neutral colors and soft edges.  Since this clinic focuses on non-traditional ways of healing the body through exercise, diet and nature, I wanted to use a non-traditional typeface. Inspired by a font called “Morion”, I created a custom typeface that feels organic and adds a handmade element to the overall logo.

In addition to the type, I created a logo-mark that can be used on its own to symbolize the company. The soft edges and curves still feels organic, but the double “H’s” gives a sense of sophistication.
RESULTS
In addition to the brand identity, I created a brand guide to equip the owner and staff to successfully use the brand identity that I created. Included in these guidelines are primary and secondary logos, color scheme, stock imagery, what to do and not do, and more!
